Winter/Spring Small Groups
At Providence Baptist Church:
We believe spiritual growth happens best in community — through intentional discipleship, authentic relationships, and accountability that encourages and strengthens. Our groups are a place to grow in God’s Word and walk alongside others on the same journey. We’re not just growing in faith — we’re growing together. We offer small groups on three nights a week, providing flexible options for you to plug into meaningful relationships, dive into Scripture, and grow in accountability. Whether you’re new or have been with us for years, there’s a group for you to connect with and build stronger bonds in faith.
9Marks Biblical Theology introduces readers to the practice of reading the Bible as one unified story with Jesus Christ at its center. Rather than approaching Scripture as a collection of isolated books or moral lessons, the authors help us trace God’s unfolding plan of redemption from Genesis to Revelation. Along the way, the book highlights major biblical themes—such as covenant, kingdom, promise, and fulfillment—and shows how they connect across both the Old and New Testaments.
Written with the local church in mind, this book is clear, concise, and deeply practical. It equips ordinary Christians to read their Bibles more carefully, understand how individual passages fit into the bigger story, and grow in confidence when studying and teaching Scripture. For a Bible study group, 9Marks Biblical Theology offers a helpful framework for seeing the beauty, coherence, and gospel-centered message of the whole Bible—and for letting that message shape our faith and life together.
We’re offering multiple Bible study opportunities throughout the week to help you stay rooted in God’s Word and connected to community. Studies will be held Tuesday’s at 6:30pm, Wednesday’s at 6:30pm, and Thursday’s at 6:00pm, giving you the flexibility to choose a night that best fits your schedule.
